Saudi holiday makers find solace in Taif

In the middle of slopes and mountains, you can almost spot nothing except the cars of vacationers driving along the curves of the Aqaba road towards al-Hada mountain. The heat of coastal areas drives them to seek the mountain breeze.

Taif looks like a beaded necklace with its summer vacationers whose numbers have remarkably risen in the last few years.

The opening of the Taif Airport this year must have encouraged more people to visit. There are other factors like the weather and security that make it an attractive destination.

Tourist attractions in Taif are popular among a large number of visitors. As soon as the summer season began, business owners prepared for the flock of visitors. They made sure all the needs of tourists were available and paid special attention to children’s recreation followed by youth entertainment and family gatherings.

Several competitions are held at the children’s theater which attracts all family members. It is unfortunate that activities related to adults seemed average basically owing to the social makeup that renders concerts and performances very limited.

The youth has found here in Taif what they had always longed for. Now they have places to gather which were usually restricted to families. They are now able to get cool off from the summer heat in several swimming pools designed in different shapes.
