Egyptian footballer and Hull City winger Ahmed Elmohamady has recovered from a calf injury and is ready for Saturday’s English Championship tie against Sheffield.
Ahram online reported on Tuesday that the 25-year-old missed his team’s last two matches against Blackpool and Leyton Orient. The absence was due to the injury which occurred during Hull's 2-0 victory over Leeds United last week.
“I am ready for the Sheffield Wednesday clash after returning to training,” Elmohamady tweeted on Tuesday morning.
The player joined Hull from Sunderland on a season-long loan last summer.
His former coach Martin O'Neill recently implied he could use a clause that allows him to recall the winger if he fails to sign a new midfielder to the Sunderland team.
Hull City are seven points behind Championship table leaders Cardiff with 49 points, this puts them in second place.
