Hezbollah leader ridiculed after he reveals $1,300 monthly salary from Iran
Activists in Lebanon have ridiculed the announcement made during an television interview by Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah that his monthly salary, from Iran, was $1,300.
Nasrallah, who tried Thursday to deflect the condemnation of Iranians shouting in the streets against Tehran’s funding of the Hezbollah militia while more than half of the Iranian people live below the poverty line, refused to disclose the amount paid to his militia from Iran.
