Man spotted at Harvard seeking donations for ISIS
The unidentified man was reportedly standing in front of the Kennedy School of Government
Officials at Harvard University have notified members of the college community that a man was seeking donations for a charity linked with the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), Boston Globe reported Friday.
The unidentified man was reportedly standing in front of the Kennedy School of Government.
“At this time there does not appear to be a threat to the community, but we felt that it was important to notify members of our community. We have also notified the Harvard University Police Department,” the university said in a statement.
“He has not been seen on the campus since that time,” it added.
A spokesman for the University said it had no comment on security issues, the website reported.
The FBI is reportedly assessing the incident.
