UAE FM : Iran impact on UAE economy exaggerated

The UAE Foreign Minister, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has said the claimed impact of Iran on the Emirati economy has been exaggerated.

Bin Zayed stressed that the number of Iranians in the UAE did not exceed 90,000 and not half a million. He added that the number of Iranian companies operating in the country did not exceed 200, as opposed to the tens of thousands that some have claimed.
