Germany has the world’s strongest passport with a visa-free score of 158, according to the 2017 list published by Passport Index.
Sweden and Singapore have the joint second place on the list while the third place is shared by seven countries which are Denmark, Finland, France, Spain, Norway, the United Kingdom and the United States of America.
The number of countries which passport holders can visit without a visa determines the ranking.
The fourth rank is jointly shared by Italy, Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Luxembourg, Portugal, Switzerland, North Korea and Japan while the fifth rank is shared by Malaysia, Ireland and Canada.
The strongest Arab passport is that of the United Arab Emirates which was ranked 28 with a visa-free score of 122. It’s followed by Kuwait ranked at 51 with a visa-free score of 82. Saudi Arabia was ranked 60 with a visa-free score of 67. The strongest Arab passport outside the GCC countries, was Tunisia which was ranked 67.
