On his twitter handle @weathersarov one can see  LED screens showing the temperature records from different countries around the world.

Between the months of November 2017 and January 2018, the amateur meteorologist recorded the wide variations in temperature.

On  January 18, he posted several pictures from around Norilsk, Russia, showing his Twitter followers that the weather had dropped down to -40 degrees Celsius.

Few days before that, he tweeted several other screen shots indicating that the temperature had gone down to -62 degrees Celsius in Oymyakon, Russia. This he claimed was the lowest recorded temperature this year.

As opposed to that, one viewer tweeted from another country showing the temperature to be an incredible -128 degrees Celsius!

Viewers reacted to the above post, bringing up many queries and replies which generally showed that they did not really believe that -128 degrees Celsius temperature could be  true.

One reply was: “The lowest recorded temperature ever was -89.2 degrees Celsius in Antarctica”.

Followers began to wonder what is the lowest temperature ever recorded? But it seems nobody really knows.
