Winter has made its presence in the Gulf on Friday when it draped the Al-Lawz mountains (Almond Mountains) in the North of Saudi Arabia. A certain sign of spring is the removal of snow from Vildmarksvägen (Wilderness Road) in the mountains in north western Sweden. At some parts along the road the snow depth is more than 6 meters and it has to be removed in layer after layer.
