A video of an Emirati man bidding farewell to a Sri Lankan woman who had been his family’s nanny for 36 years after news of her husband’s death back home has gone viral with over 230,000 views. In a Superman moment, Dubai Ruler and Vice President of the UAE, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al-Maktoum, has come to the rescue of a European family after their car got stuck in the sand on Saturday. Emarat Al Youm newspaper’s twitter handle shared pictures of the ruler trying to drive the car back onto the main road. He also took a picture with the adventuring family.
