The UAE national team qualified for the Gulf Cup final after beating Iraq 4-2 on penalties Tuesday in the semi-finals of the tournament held in Kuwait. The game ended in a 0-0 draw during the first 90 minutes and the extra time. Oman's state budget for 2018, approved by ruler Sultan Qaboos on Monday will boost spending while keeping the same deficit as the 2017 budget. A mentally ill man carrying a knife in a shopping mall in Muscat stabbed a policeman to death and injured two others on Saturday, according to Omani security services.
