Lebanese singer Elissa on Saturday tweeted in support of a young cancer patient called Michelle Hajal.

Elissa’s tweet came on the heels of a campaign launched on Lebanese social media to raise $750,000 under the name #michelehajal, the 24-year-old who is suffering from lymphoma cancer.
Hajal, who participated in the Miss Lebanon contest in 2016 and reached the final stages, had previously completed the first stage of treatment, but the cancer reappeared again, necessitating traveling to the United States for treatment.
Michelle was diagnosed for the first time in January 2018, and after many chemotherapy sessions which failed to stop the spread of the tumor, doctors advised her to go for a specialized treatment in the United States which will cost $750,000.
