How Damascus asked a prominent Ahvaz activist to become an agent

This week’s Guest is Dr. Mona Silawi, spokesperson of the Democratic Solidarity Party of Ahvaz. “The Iranian Embassy in Damascus asked me to become an agent for the Iranian regime but I refused”, she said. Silawi’s father has been in Iranian prisons for years because her family has supported the opposition that “seeks to eliminate their Arabic identity”, as Silawi says. She asks Arab States not to treat the people of Ahvaz as part of the Iranian people
