In the first part of a trilogy, the former Secretary-General of the Arab Front for the Liberation of Ahwaz (AFLA), Mahmud Bcharri al-Kaabi, talks about the Iranization policy adopted by Iran in the predominantly Arab al-Ahwaz in order to obliterate its identity. Al-Kaabi believes that Iran is taking advantage of sects and religions to achieve its national expansionist Persian project. In this regard, there is no difference between the former policy of Iran’s shah and the strategy of the present regime which is acting as the “policeman of the region.”
Political Memoirs is a weekly program that hosts prominent former politicians from across the Arab world, creating a platform for sharing history from different points of view.
