Interview with Keith Ellison, first U.S. Muslim Congressman
Tuesday, 1 April 2014
First U.S. Muslim Congressman Keith Ellison tells Al Arabiya that diversity in Congress would only strengthen it, noting that attacks against him as a Muslim did not “bother” him.
“Attacks on me as a person, as a Muslim, really never bothered me actually, as a matter of fact, I knew that those people were wrong,” Ellison said.
Special Interview features prominent figures discussing current affairs topics of the day. Wendy Sherman, the U.S. Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs, Bernardino Leon, the European Union envoy to the Middle East, and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas are among the many guests to have featured on the show.
