Video: Suspected leader of ISIS recruitment cell in Morocco arrested
Saturday, 27 September 2014
Video uploaded online by Spanish media outlets this weekend allegedly shows the arrest Friday of Mohammad Said Mohammad, the suspected head of a cell for recruiting members to the Islamic State of Iraq and Syrian (ISIS) group in the north African country of Morocco.
On Friday, a cross-border cell in the Spanish enclave of Melilla and the neighboring Moroccan city of Nador to recruit militants to fight with ISIS was dismantled, the Associated Press reported.
Spanish media described the arrested suspects as “dangerous” and named Mohammad as their ring leader.
Online news outlets in Spain posted video allegedly showing footage of Mohammad’s arrest in Nador.
How are we doing?
