Saudi labor ministry refutes World Bank statistics on expats

The Saudi Ministry of Labor has confirmed that the number of expats in the country reached ten million seven hundred by the end of 2014, which is equivalent to 33% of the total population.

The World Bank report has suggested a bigger number of expats and that the amounts of money remittances to abroad exceed the ceiling of one hundred fifty seven billion riyals. Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency has revealed that total amounts have not exceeded 127 billions.
