Saudi aid to Somalis during harshest drought in decades

A humanitarian delegation coming from Saudi Arabia has arrived to Hargeisa, the capital of Somaliland, which announced its separation from Somalia. The delegation came to deliver food aid for thousands of families affected by drought with the presence of the Saudi ambassador in Kenya and the charge d ' affaires of the Saudi Embassy in Somalia. Vast regions of Somaliland, the autonomous territory that declared independence from Somalia in 1991, are enduring one of their harshest droughts in two decades.
