Cash-strapped Lindsay Lohan snubs $200k appearance at Dubai event

While struggling to pay her debts, Hollywood’s Lindsay Lohan has rejected a total amount of $200,000 to appear at a promotional event in Dubai, according to news reports.

Lohan, who is suffering money woes after having to deal with a big tax bill, has demanded half a million dollars to appear at a promotional party for Mr. Pink’s Ginseng Energy Drink in the emirate, according to U.S.-based RadarOnline.com.

A source told the website that executives at the energy drink firm are only willing to offer $200,000 and will pay for all of the “Liz and Dick” star’s travel expenses.

The 26-year-old actress, who was sent for rehab for taking drugs and arrested for drunk driving, could still face problems getting a visa with her criminal past still hanging.

Her money woes have forced her to move with her parents and borrow money from actor Charlie Sheen to pay off her tax debts. She has also borrowed money from another actor, Ashton Kutcher. According to the National Enquirer , Lohan has been using Kutcher like an ATM.

In January, she earned more than $100,000 to celebrate New Year with the son of the Sultan of Brunei. The Daily Mail reported that Lohan was paid to fly to London in 2013 with Prince Haji Abdul Azim, where she was housed in the five-star Dorchester Hotel, along with her mother Dina - and was seen leaving the lavish party.

Meanwhile, earlier this month, Lohan tweeted that she might be heading to Dubai. “Chatting about Dubai looks like I might be making a trip soon,” she wrote.
