British opposition leader Jeremy Corbyn on Wednesday apologized for the Iraq war on behalf of his Labour Party after former Labour prime minister Tony Blair defended his actions despite a damning inquiry report.
“I now apologize sincerely on behalf of my party for the disastrous decision to go to war in Iraq,” Corbyn said after meeting families of British soldiers who died.
