Saudi King arrives in Kuwait for final leg of GCC tour
Kuwaiti Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah welcomed king Salman and expressed pleasure of the planned visit
Saudi Arabia’s King Salman has arrived in Kuwait for the final leg of his Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) tour which saw him attend the United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Bahrain.
The Saudi king arrived from Bahrain where he attended the 37th GCC summit along six other Gulf leaders and the United Kingdom’s Prime Minister Theresa May.
King Salman said at the summit a day earlier was that his vision is to see GCC transitioning from mere cooperation to implement more of “joint efforts” in defense, security and economics.
Kuwaiti Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah welcomed the Saudi king at his palace in Kuwait City and expressed pleasure of the planned visit.
