Adel al-Jubeir hopes US Congress will be reasonable
Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir speaking at the World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting in Davos on Tuesday, addressed the issue of the controversial Justice Against Sponsors of Terrorism Act (JASTA) bill, and said that the US will be the loser if they decide to go ahead with it.
Jubeir warned that once sovereign immunities are bypassed as the bill seeks to do, it will open up litigation against the US from almost every country in the world.
The minister reiterated the concerns over Iran’s terrorist activities in the world.
