Khalid bin Ahmed al-Khalifa Bahrain’s Minister of Foreign Affairs tweeted on Wednesday that Qatar’s claims of siege and starvation are bogus.
He said that our act, in reference to the quadrant statement against Qatar, is but “sovereign steps to protect our security and the safety of our countries, taking into account the familial ties between our people.”
Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Bahrain and Egypt cut ties with Qatar and imposed stringent economic sanctions on it.
