Saudi Interior Ministry: Soldier dies in Qatif shooting at a patrol of the border guards, reported Al Arabiya.
A Saudi security officer was killed by a bullet on Thursday evening on the corniche of al-Nasira area in the eastern province of Qatif, after being shot while performing his duties.
The Saudi Ministry of Interior’s spokesman said that at 10 pm on Thursday, a patrol of border guards in Qatif province was attacked. Soldier Mohammed Hussein Hazazi died and soldier Khaled Maaber got injured in the terrorist shooting.
The Saudi authorities have begun investigating the terrorist crime.
