The forces from the Yemeni Army managed to take control of a number of highlands where the militias were based in Baqim district, north of Saada governorate - a stronghold of the Houthis.

According to field sources, the elite forces that were formed from the 102nd Brigade and the 63rd Infantry Brigade, launched a large-scale attack on the Directorate of Baqim from three days.
