King Salman: Securing pilgrims’ safety and comfort is a source of pride to us
King Salman congratulated the Muslim nation on Eid al-Adha, on Friday, saying: "My congratulations to you and to the pilgrims on this blessed Eid al-Adh, asking God that our deeds and prayers be accepted”.
King Salman said during his meeting with the princes, prominent guests from the GCC countries, leaders of the military sectors in Mina: "What you are doing in order to serve the pilgrims and to protect their safety is a source of joy and pride to us."
He added that "the service of the pilgrims and the provision of their needs, security and comfort is the course of this country, from which it will never deviate."
King Salman has inspected the sites in Mina by himself to ensure the pilgrims received optimum services and concluded the main part of Hajj by standing at mount Arafat before moving afterwards to Muzdalifah.
The pilgrims began to throw their initial round of stones at Jamarat on the first day of Eid, in preparation to wrap up Hajj journey.
