Saudi Arabia has said that wanted fugitive Abdullah bin Mirza al-Qalaf has been killed in Qatif's Awamiya neighborhood in the kingdom’s Eastern Province.
An official source from Saudi Arabia’s State Security said that as a result of the security monitoring and surveillance of terrorist elements in Awamiya, security authorities were able to locate monitor Qalaf on Monday evening.
“(Qalaf) was involved in a number of terrorist crimes and was hiding in a farm located between the towns of Awamiyah and Qudayh,” a statement on Saudi Press Agency read.

Qalaf was found in a silver Hyundai Sonata car bearing false plates, and when called under arrest began firing at security forces who then neutralized him and resulted in his death.
No bystander or security personnel were hurt during Monday’s operation.
