WATCH: Dubai police arrest two men after stealing over $408,000 from Bentley

Published: Updated:

Dubai Police have arrested two men who were accused of stealing $408,390, what is equivalent to AED1.5 mln, from a Bentley car.

The police team captured the culprits within 12 minutes of receiving an alert and the money was recovered. The alert stemmed from the operations room at the Abu Dhabi Police General Command.

Using Artificial Intelligence, which includes wireless camera surveillance, the patrols were able to navigate to the suspects’ exact location in Jumeirah.

Since the incident, Dubai police have posted a video on their Facebook page on Thursday of what appears to be a recreation of the crime.

The propaganda-like video aims to showcase the measures taken by the emirate’s police force to maintain security across the country. The Dubai Police General Command have praised the force’s prompt action in dealing with the situation.
