Saudi Deputy Labor Minister addresses UN Commission on Women’s Status

Saudi Arabia’s recently appointed Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Development recently addressed the United Nations Commission on Women’s Status in New York.

During her speech, Dr. Tamader Al-Rammah said that the session focusing on challenges and opportunities in achieving gender equality and empowering rural women and girls represented a good opportunity to shed light on the achievements of Saudi Arabia in the field.

“Saudi women are important elements of the Kingdom’s strength and we will continue to develop their talents, invest their capabilities and enable them to obtain appropriate opportunities to build their future and contribute to developing our society and economy,” she said at the session.
