Yemeni army forces seized the last mountainous area under the control of the Houthi militia in Al Minsa, and strategic positions in Al Maysara Front in Nihem district, east of Sanaa.
The National Army, supported by the Arab coalition aircrafts, managed after fierce battles with the Houthi militia to take control of the last locations within the mountain.
Other battles took place, according to a source in the field, in the same Directorate along with the artillery bombardment by the national army forces on the positions of the militias.
The source also reported concentrated raids of the Arab coalition jets, targeting the Houthi communities in different areas in the Directorate of Nihem.
The clashes and the coalition raids resulted in deaths and injuries among the Houthi militia, and the destruction of military equipment.
The Yemeni army, backed by the Arab coalition, is fighting fierce battles in the Nihem Front, which is described as the eastern gateway to the capital Sanaa.
The army is making progress on the ground, amid losses in the ranks of the Houthi militia.
