Saudi Prince Khalid bin Salman says Houthi militia ‘determined to escalate war’
Saudi Arabia’s ambassador to the US, Prince Khalid bin Salman, said on Thursday that the Iran-backed Houthi militia in Yemen is determined to escalate the war and prolong the suffering of the Yemeni people.
The prince also condemned the Houthi attack on a Saudi oil tanker in the Yemeni port of Hodeidah which happened earlier this week.
He added that this kind of attack on a key navigation port is a blatant disregard for international laws.

The Saudi oil tankers was attacked in international waters west of the Hodeidah port, currently controlled by Houthi armed militias supported by Iran.
