A Saudi man was killed by shrapnel from a projectile fired by Houthi militiamen from Yemeni territory onto the governorate of Samtah in the Jazan area.
A number of houses and vehicles were also damaged in the attack.

Spokesman for the Civil Defense Directorate in the Jazan District Colonel Yahya Abdullah Al-Qahtani said that the civil defense teams received a report on the fall of fragments of military projectiles launched by Houthi elements from inside Yemeni territory towards the governorate of Samta, resulting in the death of a citizen.
