The Yemeni army forces published a video on Tuesday that shows the first moments of storming and liberating the Hodeidah International Airport.
The video shows the beginning of the raid and the Arab coalition’s aerial cover with the Apache to aid the ground troops’ advance.
The operation concluded with controlling the airport.
According to military sources, more than 250 Houthi fighters were killed and hundreds others were injured in the battle of liberating the airport on Tuesday while 87 Houthis were held captives by the national army and resistance forces.
The Twitter account Sahel Almakha which is affiliated with the Yemeni army said legitimate forces seized control of the area of Al-Manzar and other areas west of the airport and advanced east towards Kilo 16 Road which links between Hodeidah and Sanaa and seized control of it.
