Sheikh Sultan bin Suhaim, a member of the Qatari royal family considered the regime’s actions in Qatar a scandal that will be recorded in history after it spent the Qatari people’s money on terrorist groups.

Sheikh Sultan who is the son of Sheikh Suhaim bin Hamad bin Abdullah al-Thani, added: “Another evidence that condemns the Qatari regime and exposes it to the world ... What a scandal when history will record it that you paid $1.15 bln as the largest ransom in history ... and to whom?! To terrorist groups”! as he said in his tweet.

He added in another tweet: “After our country was peaceful, safe and balanced in terms of moderation and tolerance, it turned at the hands of the two-Hamad regime into a state supportive of terrorism … Who allowed you to spend billions of dollars of the rights of the people of Qatar in support of terrorism...?!”

The Qatari Sheikh frequently use the wording of ‘two-Hamad regime’ in reference to both former Qatar Emir Hamad bin Khalifa and Hamad bin Jassim bin Jaber, Qatar’s former foreign and prime minister.

Sheikh Sultan pointed out in another tweet at the commander of the Quds Force in the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, Qasem Soleimani, by saying: “You (Qatar regime) have cooperated with Qasem Soleimani and you supported him… you contacted and funded militias’ leaders, and after your allies were Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain, you replaced them with the Houthis, Hezbollah and al-Nusra front…”
