As many as 207,546 pilgrims have arrived in Medina until yesterday, the National Pilgrim-Guide Foundation has announced.
Figures released by the Medina-based agency said that the nationalities of pilgrims present in Medina are as follows: 42,028 Indonesia, 47,671 India, 28,192 Pakistan, 27,808 Turkey, and finally Afghanistan 12,604 pilgrims.
The total number of people remaining in the city is 167,200 pilgrims, and 28,317 pilgrims are expected to arrive on Wednesday. Their breakdown are as follows: Indonesia 6,222, India 5,419, Pakistan 3,361, Nigeria 3,088. The vacancy is 49 percent.
