Saudi King orders hosting of pilgrims from families of Yemeni, Sudanese martyrs
Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz ordered the hosting of 1,500 pilgrims from the families of the Yemeni national army and Sudanese forces’ martyrs who participated in Operation Decisive Storm and Operation Restore Hope in Yemen.
This comes as part of the Guests of King Salman for Hajj and Umrah program, which is supervised by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance.
“The program and the King’s order shows his appreciation of the heroic sacrifices that these martyrs have made, God rest their souls, in defending the land of our brothers in Yemen and the dignity of its people,” said Sheikh Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz, the minister of Islamic affairs, Dawah and Guidance.
In coordination with other government sectors, Sheikh Abdullatif said that they will ensure the facilitations of all processes for the families in order for them to comfortably perform their pilgrimage.
