The number of pilgrims arriving in Saudi Arabia to participate in Hajj season, from abroad via air, land and sea ports on Thursday evening reached 1,141,138 pilgrims, with an increase of 70,084 pilgrims compared with the same period of last year season.
According to statistics released by the General Directorate of Passports, there has been a 7% increase in the number of pilgrims for the same period of last year.
The number of pilgrims arriving by air reached 1,075,474, pilgrims arriving by land 53,638 and by sea 12,026 pilgrims as of Thursday evening.
