The Yemeni army aided by the Arab coalition forces launched a violent attack on the Houthis’ posts and fortifications in Marran in Saada, militia leader Abdel Malik al-Houthi's stronghold.

Military sources said large army forces are fighting fierce battles in Marran from four axes and managed to control a number of strategic posts as they’ve liberated several valleys and mountains at the bottom of Marran that reached tens of kilometers, adding that the rebels have suffered major human and materialistic losses as a result.
