Riyadh’s success is crucial to the UAE’s success, the UAE’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Anwar Gargash said to mark Saudi Arabia’s 88th National Day, which officially takes place on Sunday.

In a tweet to celebrate the occasion, Gargash said that both countries “work together, succeed together and live together.”

“Warmest congratulations for Saudi National Day, and our wishes for continued stability, prosperity and leadership. We work together, succeed together and live together, and we realize that Riyadh’s success is vital to our success,” Gargash said.

The UAE has already begun celebrating Saudi Arabia’s 88th National Day starting with the Dubai International Airport on Thursday.

The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai tweeted a series of initiatives that took place at the airport where staff were pictured welcoming Saudi travelers with flowers, flags and sweets. The airport has also created a special entry stamp to celebrate the occasion, which has the Saudi flag on it.
