The US State Department confirmed on Thursday that the Saudi investigation into the case of Jamal Khashoggi was an important step on the right track.
The State Department said the first charges made in the Saudi investigation were a “good first step” in the “right way” and called on the Saudi authorities to proceed with their investigations.
