Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman left Algeria after a two-day official visit that started on Sunday night.
The crown prince Mohammed arrived in Algeria from Mauritania, resuming his tour of Arab countries after attending the G20 summit in Argentina. Before attending the G20 summit, he had visited the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Egypt and Tunisia.
On Monday, a joint statement issued on Monday announced the establishment of a higher council for coordination between Saudi Arabia and Algeria under the chairmanship of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Algerian Prime Minister Ahmed Ouyahia to enhance cooperation in the political and security fields and combating terrorism and extremism.
