Saudi King Salman performs funeral prayers on late Prince Talal

Saudi Arabia’s King Salman bin Abdulaziz performed funeral prayers on his late brother Prince Talal bin Abdulaziz on Sunday at the Imam Turki bin Abdullah mosque in Riyadh.

Upon arrival at the venue, the King was received by Prince Abdul-Elah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Special Advisor to the King; Prince Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Al Saud; Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz Al Saud; Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz as well as the sons of the deceased prince: Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal bin Abdulaziz; Prince Khalid bin Talal bin Abdulaziz; Prince Turki bin Talal bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Asir Region; Prince Abdulaziz bin Talal bin Abdulaziz; Prince Abdulrahman bin Talal bin Abdulaziz; Prince Mansour bin Talal bin Abdulaziz; Prince Mohammed bin Talal bin Abdulaziz; and Prince Mash-hoor bin Talal bin Abdulaziz.

Also attending the funeral prayer were Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chief of the Bahraini royal family; Prince Mawlaye Ismail; Shaikh Shakhbout bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the Kingdom and a number of officials.

A number of princes also took part in the prayers, which followed Asr (afternoon regular prayers), and escorted the body of late Prince Talal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to his final resting place at Al-Oad cemetery, downtown Riyadh.
