Khalid bin Salman: Appointments of Assaf, Jubeir will advance Saudi diplomacy
Saudi Arabia’s ambassador to the US, Prince Khalid bin Salman, posted a series of tweets on Friday about the new royal decrees that the kingdom issued on Thursday.
In his first tweet, he congratulated everyone appointed to new positions, saying that the move reflects the leadership’s commitment to implement its vision.

In his two other tweets, he wrote specifically about Dr. Ibrahim al-Assaf and Adel al-Jubeir, the new Saudi Foreign Minister and his predecessor who became the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, saying that their appointments will help advance Saudi diplomacy.
As both are members of the Council of Ministers and the Council for Political and Security Affairs, their appointments are an addition to current efforts to implement KSA’s foreign policy and pursue its priorities effectively.— Khalid bin Salman خالد بن سلمان (@kbsalsaud) December 28, 2018
