Oman’s Sultan Qaboos has received Saudi Arabia’s Vice Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman at the Bait al-Barakah Royal Palace, Oman News Agency reported.
“Upon the directives of His Highness the Crown Prince, I was pleased to visit the Sultanate of Oman and meet with His Majesty Sultan Qaboos and listen to His Majesty's vision on the situation in the region,” Prince Khalid bin Salman tweeted after the meeting.
“I conveyed to His Majesty a message from His Highness the Crown Prince and the deep strategic and historical brotherly relations was confirmed between the two brotherly countries and ways of enhancing them,” the Saudi Arabian Vice Minister of Defense added.
A day earlier, Prince Khalid bin Salman had met with Oman’s Minister of the Royal Office Gen. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nu’amani.
According to the Oman News Agency, the two sides exchanged conversations on bi-lateral relations between Saudi Arabia and Oman and reviewed joint efforts and cooperation and issues of common concern.
