Dubai will screen passengers arriving on direct flights from China, the emirate’s airport operator said on Thursday, as the coronavirus outbreak in China that has killed 17 spreads.
Passengers arriving at Dubai International, the world’s third busiest airport, will be thermally screened, Dubai Airports said.
Abu Dhabi International, the base of carrier Etihad Airways, will also screen passengers arriving from China, the airport said on Thursday.
“Abu Dhabi International Airport has started a screening process for passengers arriving from China in an effort to ensure the health and safety of all of our travelers,” it said on Twitter.
