Saudi Arabian Airlines suspends flights to China’s Guangzhou

Saudi Arabian Airlines announced on Sunday the suspension of flights between two Saudi cities and the Chinese city of Guangzhou starting Sunday evening and until further notice due to the coronavirus outbreak, also known as corona.

Many airlines, including Air Canada, Air France, British Airways, Etihad Airways, Lufthansa, and Qatar Airways have suspended flights to China in the wake of the new virus, which as of Friday killed more than 259 people and infected nearly 10,000 people.

Saudi Arabia had been monitoring all passengers who arrive on flights from China for coronavirus before the announcement of the suspension of flights.
