The United Arab Emirates reported 12 new coronavirus cases, raising the total number of cases in the country to 98, the ministry of health said on Sunday.
The ministry said the 12 cases were detected through testing people who came into contact with patients discovered earlier and were in quarantine, and a few cases linked to international travel.

The nationalities of the new cases were as follows: one case from each of South Africa, Australia, China, Philippines, Lebanon, UK, Italy, Iran, UAE, and three cases from India.
The ministry also added that three cases have been cured, an individual from Bangladesh and two from India, raising the total number of patients who have been cured to 26.
