Bahrain’s Ministry of Health reported on Sunday the second coronavirus death in the country.
The Ministry of Health said a 51-year-old Bahraini female who was infected with the coronavirus, had chronic health problems, according to a statement carried by the Bahraini News Agency.
The statement added that the deceased had returned from Iran earlier this month, as part of the International COVID-19 Repatriation Program (ICRP) launched by the Kingdom, confirming that the Bahraini female was isolated and received extensive 24-hour treatment from a specialized medical team upon arrival.
The Ministry highlighted that, excluding three cases, all other active coronavirus cases remain stable and are receiving treatment.
