Saudi Arabia’s General Directorate of Prisons recovers hacked Twitter account
The General Directorate of Prisons in Saudi Arabia said on Sunday it has regained control of its Twitter account after it was hacked, state news agency SPA reported.
“The account has been recovered and the offensive tweets were deleted,” it said.
The directorate apologized to its Twitter followers for the breach and stressed that it is conducting an investigation to find the culprits and will take legal action against those responsible.
