“Joint Coalition Forces have intercepted and destroyed, in Yemeni airspace, this afternoon (Monday) a bomb-laden UAV launched systematically and deliberately by the terrorist Houthi militia to target civilians and civilian objects in the Kingdom,” Coalition spokesman Turki al-Malki said in a statement carried by the official Saudi Press Agency.

Yemen has been locked in conflict since 2014, when the Houthis seized Sanaa, the capital, and then much of the country's north.
