Published: Updated:

A Greek plane coming from Jordan and carrying 168 passengers made an emergency landing at Tel Aviv's Ben Gurion airport on Thursday.

“There was a state of emergency at Tel Aviv airport before the plane made an emergency landing,” Al Arabiya’s correspondent reported.

He added that preliminary information shows there was a problem with the aircraft’s computer.

The number of casualties is not yet clear. However, Al Arabiya's correspondent said that the plane did land "safely."
